In particular, strawberry and grape plantations are the most affected<em>.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n<p>It is commonly known as Botrytis cinerea and causes necrosis of the tissues it infects. It thrives in mild climates with high humidity and spreads very easily.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Why does brotytis COME out in our plants?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>During the winter, the fungus hibernates in the soil in the form of small hard nodules that grow on decaying plants. When the weather is humid, it releases its conidia to be dispersed by the wind.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-rounded\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cultivers.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/botritis.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1014\" width=\"512\" height=\"384\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cultivers.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/botritis-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cultivers.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/botritis-510x382.jpg 510w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p>The pathogen shows activity even when the temperature is very low, causing considerable losses in crops that have been stored for a long period of time.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\"><strong>How does brotytis AFFECT our plants?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>Gray mold (Botrytis cinerea) and its strains cause necrosis of flowers, leaves, buds, shoots, seedlings and fruits of plants.
