Copper source for all types of plants
Copper is classified by FRAC (Fungicide Resistance Action Committee) as an inorganic, multisite fungicide and bacteriostatic with very low resistance risk.
Its mode of action is based on the presence of Cu2+ ions in aqueous solution. Cu2+ ions are absorbed by the pathogen until the accumulation collapses its cells by blocking the respiratory process, inhibiting protein synthesis and reducing membrane activity.
This multi-dian action of copper involves different processes controlled by different genes, making it difficult for resistance to develop.
