March planting calendar
March planting calendar. Winter is over and spring is beginning. The days are getting longer, we have better temperatures and it is time to increase the work in the garden. It is time to start planning for the new season and this is synonymous with work and preparation.
It is time to start seriously with the seedbeds and clear areas in our vegetable garden, urban garden or potted garden, to make room for the new seasonal plants. With the arrival of heat the range of possibilities multiplies, and it is not time to be selective about what we are going to start planting and what not.
It’s time to prepare beds with background fertilizers to get our plants off to an energetic start.
