Organic Red Basil Seeds

RED BASIL / Ocimum basilicum L. This variety of basil has an intense aroma, with reddish-brown leaves and a more intense flavor than common basil. This plant should be repotted every 2 to 3 years to reinvigorate the foliage and ensure a more accentuated aroma. It does not tolerate low temperatures, frost or excessive heat. The leaves can be used dried or fresh, especially delicious in salads and as a garnish.
