In October we can sow the following vegetables, many of these you can start to taste them in a few months, as some of them we can start consuming their leaves and others are fast growing like radishes.

As you can see, the beginning of autumn does not mean that we have to have the garden empty and devoid of life, here you have a wide selection of vegetables that will surely fill your pantry with color and flavor.

Swiss chard

  • Direct sowing of seed, without transplanting
  • Rinse when the plants are about 12 cm long.
  • Germination in 10-12 days
  • Harvesting in 3-4 months
  • Light and frequent watering, maintain humidity.
  • Container: 3 liters

Garlic

  • Direct sowing of garlic cloves (tips upwards)
  • From crescent moon, never full moon
  • Germination in 10-12 days

Celery

  • Seedbed planting
